Before there was Madonna and Lady Gaga...there was Diana Ross!!!
Diana was the epitome of style...her look was always daring and she was not afraid to put sexy on the stage. She took glamour to the limit and then added more to it. Her outfits were always full of dramatic flair...and Diana never saw a fur she didn't like.

Who can forget her catsuits and skin-tight dresses and the biggest hair EVER!!! (Texas big hair had nothing on Diana Ross!)
I know I sat watching her wanting to be like her...as did many other young girls. It wasn't just her daring sense of style (for that time), but her performances were legendary. Who can forget her 1982 Central Park Concert...(even though Mother Nature decided she would be the only one performing that night.)
For teaching me to be daring and to embrace being a woman...Diana Ross is one of my Style Icons.
